A glossy new promo film has just been launched, showcasing Budapest as a luxury destination bar none. ‘Budapest – Spice of Europe’, integral to a marketing campaign ongoing since 2018, targets the discerning visitor with a little more cash to splash on discovering the finer aspects of what the city has to offer.
Created by the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ), the film follows a couple’s journey of discovery through the city from sunrise to way past sunset. Budapest – Spice of Europe involved a production team of 40, the end result a high-spec, two-minute odyssey from hotel balcony to baths to bridges to rooftops. In the frame are the Fishermen’s Bastion, Párisi Udvar and the Franz Liszt Music Academy, among many other sights.
