Bomo Art has opened its third store in Budapest, where specialty books, stationery, inks and 3D paper globes are sold alongside the usual beautifully bound booklets and diaries.
Bomo Art Petit is the company’s third store, alongside the Gozsdu Udvar on Síp utca. Although tiny, 12 square metres in size, it offers the essence of two existing and popular Budapest shops on Régi posta utca and at the Várkert Bazaar.
The peculiarity of the store is that you can personalise your newly purchased diary or booklet – Kingsley type-set on-site, a short text in your selected font – with a monogram, all wrapped in leather. The small shop on Síp utca is also special because it used to be the Manufaktor Artlabor for puppet-making and game design, which they started to renovate together, and their reception desk remained.
