On 27 September, the Bay Zoltán Research Institute awaits those interested in the world of science for Researchers Night. The festival will feature lectures and interactive attractions to promote careers in research.
Hungary's largest science communication event offers entertaining, inspirational lectures, experiments, lab tours and other enjoyable attractions, bringing together visitors of all ages to discover and understand the impact new findings in scientific research has on our lives.
Researchers Night is a Europe-wide series of science communication festivals organised by universities, research institutes and innovative companies. The highlights of the event set up by the Bay Zoltán Research Institute in Budapest’s District XI include a chemistry experiment that shows how a star comes into being, a game for those interested in the future of space travel, while adventurous visitors can also take part in a crime scene investigation and crime solving. Visitors can learn about waste recycling and an environmentally friendly approach to their everyday lives. At the end of the evening, a spectacular laser show will be performed.
The scientific methods we can use to reduce household waste and successfully recycle it will also be revealed as part of Friday’s agenda.
