Casablanca, The Big Lebowski and Forrest Gump are among the evergreen flicks screening every Tuesday until March at Teatro Aria, the cinema at the music-themed Aria Hotel Budapest by the Basilica. Most films will be English-friendly, either audio or subtitled. Admission is free, provided you register beforehand and order at least one drink from the hotel’s High Note SkyBar. Films also inspire a new menu and cocktails.

From Ingrid Bergman to Tom Hanks, the greatest stars in cinema history animate Tuesday nights at the Aria Hotel Budapest. In addition to Hollywood flicks, Hungarian classics such as 1993 comedy-drama We Never Die also feature with English subtitles.

The hotel's scenic High Note SkyBar overlooking the Basilica is being decked out in movie-themed décor and will offer a special menu inspired by the films on screen. For Cast Away, ‘Wilson’ will be a delectable coconut panna cotta topped with shrimps, green curry and lemon gel. A stylish red cocktail called ‘Mr Big’ is a Cosmopolitan with a twist, in honour of Sex and the City. Snacks can also be ordered and taken into the cinema, as can regular cocktails.

For reservations, e-mail pr@ariahotelbudapest.com. Seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Screenings start at 7pm. For more information, visit the Aria Hotel Facebook page.
