Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar and the Gorillaz all rock Sziget this year. Taking place between August 8th and 15th, Budapest’s biggest alfresco bash has beefed up their list of headliners for 2018 to present what’s considered one of the best line-ups in Sziget history. Most of these shows take place on the Sziget main stage, now brighter than ever, with certain acts worth checking out on the Mastercard Stage by A38.

Lana Del Rey

The time has come for the dream-pop queen to bring her retro-romantic music to Budapest. Since releasing hit song Video Games in 2012, Del Rey’s melancholic art-pop music has evolved to become a statement of life affirmation, with recent collaborations including Stevie Nicks and The Weeknd. Just her best-known hits are enough to fill up a full-length festival performance.

Nick Murphy (Chet Faker)

Nick Murphy, who has brought soul-electronic-downtempo sounds back into fashion, is currently working under his own name after years of performing as his alter ego, Chet Faker. In the meantime, working with Flume and Say Lou Lou, remixing Radiohead or reworking Blackstreet’s No Diggity has not brought him recognition far beyond his native Australia. Faker or Murphy, his sensuous-emotional post-triphop seems to strike home every time.
