It’s been said that all the world’s a stage, but a group of local swing-dance enthusiasts turned our city into a dance floor to produce “Swing Out Budapest”, a new short video showcasing footloose fun around a wide assortment of monumental city sights.

Produced by Budapest’s Keep Swinging Egyesület – an association offering swing-dance lessons and events – the video portrays smoothly choreographed high-flying maneuvers executed by numerous artistes at an assortment of iconic locations citywide, ranging from prominent sights like the Liberty Bridge, the Citadel, and the circular balcony around the dome of St. Stephen’s Basilica to lesser-known landmarks like the Kelenfold Power Plant, the Elizabeth Lookout Tower, and the M4 metro station at Szent Gellért Square.

Captured with high-definition resolution and sweeping drone footage, and scored with lively Hungarian swing music, this spectacular video makes us want to jump – or Lindy hop – for joy!
