Szimpla Open Stage at Szimpla KertAt this weekly event, all music aficionados can take the stage at the world’s most famous ruin pub to perform live. The equipment – two speakers, a pair of microphones with stands, and three line inputs – are provided, so all you have to do is bring your band or come alone and jam with other up-and-coming musicians.

11pm - 5am: Gorillaz After at Pontoon The world-famous virtual British band, Gorillaz, comes to Budapest on Friday. However, unfortunately there are no tickets left for that concert, therefore, the cool team of Pontoon decided to throw an amazing after-party for those who didn’t make it to the concert, and for those who can’t stop the party afterwards. Music will be provided by Zagar.

10am - : Ladyfest Budapest 2017 at Gólya Presszó
Following the traditions of the Ladyfest movement – first held in 2000 in the US, and now a global series of events – this is a festival focusing on women making music and art, featuring female artists and bands. Besides introducing these artists, the goal is to build a community, and to help create spaces of sisterhood. In addition to live shows, the festival features works of art, roundtable talks, and workshops. Musical performers include Eyes on U, Fatma, Wave Twins, Acidwitch, and many other artists endowed with ample X chromosomes.
3pm - : Szabihíd by Valyo – Act 1 at Liberty BridgeBudapest’s especially statuesque Liberty Bridge turns into a car-free public hangout during four weekends this summer – between June 17-18 and 24-25, and August 5-6 and 12-13.
Beginning at 3pm on Saturday, everyone is welcome to flood the bridge with picnic stuff, bikes, kids, dogs, drinks, and enjoy concerts and screenings held here as an urban experiment for public-space development that looks back to the spontaneous occupation of the bridge in 2016.
3:30pm - 6pm: Planetarium Send-off at the PlanetariumBecause of the (hopefully) temporary closure of the Planetarium, the Partiscum Astronomical Association organizes an official send-off on Saturday, a 50-minute special screening starting at 4 pm.

6pm - 4am: Total Dance Festival Picnic at Kincsem ParkTravel back in time to relive the amazing atmosphere of the ’80s and ’90s amid impressive visuals and LED walls as Budapest blasts a mind-blowing house-party-like nostalgic gathering at Kincsem Park, a Hungarian horse-racing facility on Saturday. The lineup includes such stars like the Five, Real McCoy, 2 Unlimited, and Londonbeat, while pre-choreographed dance shows and several surprises also entertain crowds here. This weekly market – enhanced with a homey Hungarian ambience – boasts various cooking and entertainment shows to accompany the culinary jamboree, where up-and-coming vendors offer self-made delicacies, including tasteful vegan dips, cream cheese, and scrumptious vegan cakes, as well as crimson sausages and aromatic smoked meat for carnivorous guests.
9am - 7pm: Napforduló Yoga Festival 2017 at On Sunday, a free festival awaits yoga lovers on Margaret Island, where visitors can try the classes of various studios from all around Budapest, and rejuvenate both their body and their soul amid a serene setting. The music and a friendly atmosphere are both provided, however, everyone is kindly asked to bring their own mats and drinks. The meeting point is on the green oasis near the former Holdudvar.
11am - 7pm:
at WAMP – a beloved design fair in Budapest – takes place once again on Sunday, presenting the latest products of Hungarian designers at Erzsébet Square in the sweet summertime sunshine. After browsing through the countless accessories, clothing, and stunning small-scale pieces, market-goers can cool down by dipping their feet in the cold pool found in the middle of the square.

Cuban Picnic By Rumba Cafe at the Lónyay Street’s Rumba Café would like to celebrate the year’s longest day with a picturesque and cool Cuban picnic overlooking the Danube, , and the on Sunday.
