Sziget 2015 will be as fun and exciting as always and now the organisers have started the build up to the Island of Freedom, next August, by announcing the first few headliners. The festival includes more than 50 music venues, so the list of programs is almost never-ending and takes a long time to get into its final shape, and exact dates are still to be announced, but what is known is that Florence & The Machine will play on Day Zero (11 August). Remember, early bird tickets are available until 31 December!

Florence & The Machine

Kate Bush inspired generations of singer-songwriters, and one her most talented followers is Florence Welsch, the leader of Florence & The Machine.

Florence & The Machine is one of the few bands that manages to be mainstream without sounding commercial. Dark, robust and romantic stadium-anthems and turbulent pop hits. Expected to play at Sziget Festival on Day Zero (11 August).Alt-J

The four members of Alt-J developed a precise and unique brand of alternative pop that draws on poignant folk verses, crushing synths, smart hip-hop syncopations and tight vocal harmonies. Sometimes described as folk-step, their music isn't like anything you've ever heard before.Jamie Woon

If James Blake were more into soul than electronic soundscapes, he would sound like Jamie Woon. Woon's music is equally enigmatic and enchanting, darkly mysterious and easily acceptable. A real electro-crooner singer-songwriter.The Subways

Kadebostany's music is both catchy and singular: a unique and powerful pop gathering a variety of influences to create a universe out pair. With an unstoppable visual identity and a live performance that you will not forget, Kadebostany already stands as a major actor in a revival of the pop scene.Awolnation

White-hot new rockers Awolnation, the band behind the mega-hit Sail is like a group of alchemists, who've found the perfect blend of techno, soul, rock, , rap and pop. Everybody can find something to his or her liking in their music.José Gonzalez

"González's sparse recordings showcase hushed, double-tracked vocals, haunted imagery, and a clearly gifted classical guitarist," wrote The Pitchfork about his debut album, Veneer. The Swedish-troubadour, who is also the frontman of Junip will surely play the most intimate show of Sziget Festival.Blasterjaxx

Blasterjaxx consists of two determined, ambitious, young and talented Dutch DJ-producers Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf. Their music is a melting pot of electro, big room and progressive house, it’s dynamic, modern and monumental - not a surprise that they throw the best parties nowadays.FAUVE

The act depends mostly on storytelling through acting, through the spoken word and with interesting musical accompaniment.Babylon Circus
