A freshly launched tree-planting program aims to enhance Budapest’s boulevards and parklands by planting 10,000 new saplings citywide over the next three years. A total of 18 city-tolerant tree species – such as ashes, maples, and black locusts – will make the Magyar metropolis greener, full of fresher air, and much more colorful for years to come.
