The huge ferris wheel that dominates the city skyline is closing in just one short week. So if you haven't yet had a chance to see the most amazing view of Budapest from its pinnacle then you must hurry to Elizabeth Square and jump on the Sziget Eye before it closes on January 11.

The Sziget Eye is a 65 meter giant wheel in the heart of the downtown Budapest at Elizabeth Square. The ride takes about 10 - 12 minutes to go round and the wheel goes around about 2 - 3 times in total. You can go with friends or family as up to 6 people fit in one cabin.

The view from the Sziget Eye is incredible and looks onto the rooftops of Pest as far as the eye can see, as well as St Stephen's Basilica, Chain Bridge, Gellért Hill and other famous sites.

The Sziget Eye is open until January 11 (inclusive).

Adult tickets are 2400 HUF, children's tickets (children under 140cm) are 1500 HUF, and a family pass (2 adults, 2 children) is 6 600 HUF. Monday to Thursday the opening hours are Monday - Thursday 10am - 10pm, Friday- Saturday 10am - midnight and Sunday 10am - 10pm. The Sziget Eye is closed on January 1. There's no need to book in advance - just head to the wheel and buy your ticket in cash (HUF or EUR) or credit card, but we advise not leaving this program til the Eye's final hours as things could get crowded with last-minute riders not wanting to miss out!
