The name Teavolution has been associated with quality tea leaf mixes found in specialty cafés since 2012. The name expanded with the Tea Room & Shop part at the end of 2017, when the founders, Dóra Kapás and Balázs Nagy opened their tea room near Városliget (and Farmbistro). Expect authentic Eastern teas and exciting stories of Asia at 32 Dembinszky Street: the white, green, red, puer, oolong, and matcha teas are all sourced from the producers through personal contacts. They go on their trips around China, Taiwan, and Japan with backpacks, and if you have the time, you can listen to their stories during a traditional tea ceremony as they are always happy to talk about their adventures. The tea room is also a shop and there are tasting sizes for those who just want to dip their toes into the genre.
