Located in downtown Pest near the Chain Bridge and the Basilica, the Prestige Hotel Budapest occupies a completely refurbished Neo-Classical building designed by prominent Hungarian architect József Hild. The historic façade is primarily restored to highlight the original beauty of this urban palace, while the interior design is an elegant marriage of classic style and contemporary flair. The central courtyard now serves as a humongous lobby with velvet-upholstered sofas beneath a Swarovski-crystal chandelier and a giant skylight to allow sunshine into many of the facility’s 85 guest rooms, each equipped with modern amenities and decorated with panache. Guests enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the in-house Costes Downtown, the sister eatery to Hungary's first Michelin-starred restaurant.
