Filled with cool design shops, little boutiques, galleries and endless eateries and bars, Király is a perfect place to wander day or night. The street provides easy access to theatre-lined Nagymező utca as well as the Gozsdu Udvar passageway, a permanently bustling hive of bars and restaurants. If you’re looking for street food, Zing and Paneer will not disappoint, while for a countryside feel, hop into Frici Papa Kifőzdéje. After a long day, you can dance all night at BB’z or sip on a nice glass of wine at Kadarka. For more refined entertainment, the prestigious Franz Liszt Music Academy is just off Király, too. Once you cross the Grand Boulevard, the Nagykörút, Király sheds its tourists and becomes an intriguing stretch of secondhand vinyl outlets, antiquarian bookstores and an ever-increasing number of interesting bars.
