Friday, 6 February

BRIDGERTON DAYS AT BÖGRE

For three days, BÖGRE is bringing a touch of Regency-era charm to Ráday Street with a Bridgerton-inspired café takeover. Between 6 and 8 February, expect themed tea and coffee specials, elegant desserts, decorative details, a photo corner and classical-style music, plus a Bridgerton quiz night on Friday and Saturday evening.

Taking place on 6 - 7 February, the 9thIndoor Beer Festival returns to the grand halls of the Anantara New York Palace Budapest. Visitors can enjoy unlimited tastings of nearly 100 draft beers, served in 1 - 2 dl portions, with both Hungarian and international breweries represented - including Augustiner Bräustübl, Erdinger, Fehér Nyúl Brewery, Horizont Brewing and HopTop Brewery.

CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL 2026

On 7 - 8 February, the Chinatown Budapest hosts the Chinese New Year Festival, bringing two days of food, culture and spectacle to the city. Three Chinese cultural delegations will perform lion and dragon dances, kung fu shows, tai chi and qigong demonstrations, alongside acrobatic elements and fire performances, while two guest chefs from Chengdu prepare authentic Sichuan street food on site.

LEOPARD BRUNCH AT KOLLAB

On 7 February, the Leopard team brings a special brunch event to Kollab. The pizzeria known from Kecskeméti Street has been present in Kollab's kitchen since November with its sourdough pizzas, and this time it's offering a taste of its themed events as well. The menu features breakfast pizzas and brunch sandwiches created especially for the occasion, paired with excellent coffee and refreshing drinks - all in Leopard's signature style.

ESCAPE ROOM WITH FRIENDS

If the weather calls for something indoors and a little more interactive, an escape room is an easy Saturday win. Working against the clock, solving puzzles and figuring out clues together is a great way to switch off from the week and do something genuinely engaging as a group. Budapest offers plenty of themed rooms for all levels, making it a great option when you want something more interactive than just sitting down for drinks.

BRUNCH AT MARUMBA

Marumba launches its new brunch menu, inspired by travels and built around bold flavours, seasonal ingredients and filling dishes. The offering includes sourdough toasts with vegetable and egg toppings, beetroot hummus with falafel, zacusca served with spelt flatbread, and a comforting potato bake with smoked harissa grain sausage cream. The menu is paired with Bányai coffee, matcha and mimosas. The first brunch weekend takes place on 7 - 8 February, after which brunch will be available from Thursday to Sunday starting 12 February.

HOT WHEELS MONSTER TRUCKS LIVE SHOW AT MVM DOME

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire rolls into the MVM Dome on 7 - 8 February, promising high-octane entertainment for all ages. Alongside fan-favourite monster trucks, the show introduces the brand-new Rhinomite, plus never-before-seen Monster Truck and FMX stunts. TROPICARIUM ESCAPE

For a proper escape from winter, South Buda's Tropicarium delivers full-on tropical vibes. Located next to Campona, it may feel a bit out of the way - but the experience more than makes up for the journey. Different zones showcase animals from various climate regions, from reptiles and exotic fish to alligators and giant boas. The most popular attraction is the shark tunnel, but visitors can also spot rare species like the world's smallest monkey - and the brave can even pet stingrays.
