PALOMA HALLOWEEN CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL

On 31 October, the Wagner House will once again be filled with the sweet scent of chocolate as Paloma Artspace hosts its beloved Halloween Chocolate Festival. Visitors can explore the studios of nearly one hundred Hungarian designers, many of whom will be offering special festive discounts. Alongside the open studios, there'll be a treasure hunt, raffle prizes, and a vibrant marketplace featuring handcrafted products from artisan makers and patisseries. To top it off, guests can enjoy chocolate and coffee tastings throughout the day. Entry is free, so come along and celebrate Halloween with a delicious twist in the heart of downtown Budapest.

BUSH - BUDAPEST SHOWCASE HUB 

The Budapest Showcase Hub (BUSH)returns for the tenth time, bringing a multi-venue club festival to the city. Between 29–31 October, it will showcase emerging and established acts from Central and Eastern Europe, while also connecting music fans with industry insiders through an inspiring conference and networking events.

FREE QUIZ NIGHT 

Throughout November, quiz nights pop up all across Budapest — from Comics Bar and Spíler Biergarten to Dürer Kert and Art+ Cinema. Participants can choose from a wide range of themes, testing their knowledge in general trivia, film, series, pop culture, and history. Entry is free, though registration is required, so grab your smartest friends and get ready for an evening of fun and friendly competition.

FREE ADMISSION TO THE VASÚTTÖRTÉNETI PARK (HUNGARIAN RAILWAY HISTORY PARK)

On 1 November, the Vasúttörténeti Park (Hungarian Railway History Park) welcomes visitors withfree admission, inviting everyone to step back in time and explore the fascinating world of locomotives. Travel through the history of rail transport, admire the engineering marvels of the past century, and enjoy a day packed with interactive fun. Beyond discovering vintage engines, guests can also try garden train rides, turntable spinning, or even have a go at  handcar rides. SZIGET RUN

Start your Saturday morning with an energising community run at the Sziget Run Festival on Margaret Island. The meeting point is on the Pest side, about 100 metres beyond the steps, with the run kicking off at 9 am sharp. Organised by the Mor Fit Run Club, this friendly gathering welcomes runners of all levels — and best of all, it’s completely free and requires no registration.

After the run, join the group for a well-deserved coffee meetup, the perfect chance to chat, connect, and refuel. A great way to combine fitness, fun, and the city’s autumn charm in one morning.

ANNIE HALL MOVIE AT BEM CINEMA
