OPENING OF HAGGENMACHER BEER MANUFACTORY AT ART QUARTER BUDAPEST

After more than a century and a half, beer tapping returns to the former Haggenmacher brewery, celebrated with a three-day festival between 26–28 September. Visitors can look forward to Bavarian brass bands joined by contemporary music acts, brewery tours, gastronomic delights and the very first pints from the new beer manufactory. The event also showcases projects and installations by the artists of art quarter budapest, which has been based here since 2012.

BUDAPEST COFFEE WEEK

For one week, Budapest's best cafés, roasters and baristas will be serving up special tastings, workshops, limited-edition coffee drinks and unique programmes as Budapest Coffee Week takes place from 22–28 September. More than 50 venues across the city are joining in — including Kontakt, fekete, Coffee Works and Tranzit by Flow. The aim is to encourage coffee lovers to discover new places and guide them towards Budapest's finest coffee experiences — from artisan roasts at specialty cafés to creative signature drinks.

BREAKFAST AT TAKO

On  27 September,TAKO will host its very first breakfast, inviting guests to kick off the day with exciting flavours – both meaty and vegetarian. The menu features delights such as a green chorizo taco, a sweet potato veggie quesadilla with fresh pico de gallo, and corn-based császármorzsa served with a peach-and-pepper tomatillo sauce. To round it all off, refreshing drinks will be on hand, including pistachio horchata and cold brew coffee from Fekete.

TUTTO BUDAPEST OPENING

On 27 September, the new Italo-American inspired Tutto Budapest opens its doors with a special street party. The soundtrack comes courtesy of Budai House Clique and Haccacáré, joined by Dévényi D from Mantra, Vincenzo Pellecchia, and Daddy One Two. Meanwhile, chefs will be serving street-style bites all evening, perfectly paired with a generous drinks selection. The good news? Entry to this open-air celebration is completely free.

PIZZA MANUFAKTÚRA 15TH BIRTHDAY

Since 2010, Pizza Manufaktúra has been one of Budapest's favourite foodie spots, known for its Roman-style bases and generous toppings. On 27–28 September, the Várkert Bazár will host the Cocktail & Spirit Fest Budapest, a two-day celebration of cocktails and spirits. Visitors can sample unlimited drinks from a wide selection, as both Hungarian and international exhibitors showcase their finest creations. The programme also features demonstrations, workshops, and talks, with the highlight being the Hungarian Cocktail Championship, where the best in the business will compete live.
