From 8.30 pm, settle into Doblo Wine Bar in the heart of the Jewish Quarter for an intimate night of live music and wine. SUP Festival

On Saturday, 28 June, you can experience Budapest from a truly unique perspective – right from the middle of the Danube. Returning for its 10th edition, the Budapest SUP Festival invites hundreds of paddle boarders to glide together from Római-part to Kopaszi-gát.

As one of the country’s largest community SUP events, this half-day experience offers more than just a sporting challenge. It’s a chance to take in the city’s most iconic sights from the water, offering an entirely new angle on the Hungarian capital. Beginners are more than welcome too – free group training sessions will be held before the event to help you get started.

KIPRUN RUNNING NIGHT

On  28 June , lace up for a unique summer evening run in the glowing heart of Budapest. The Kiprun Night Run returns for its 31st edition, offering runners the chance to complete a half or quarter marathon distance beneath the city’s night sky. Starting from Heroes’ Square, the route winds through the illuminated city centre, finishing with a cool-down in the green embrace of City Park. Whether you’re running solo, in pairs, or as a three-person team, the event promises a high-energy atmosphere, with professional championships and special mini-competitions throughout the evening.

GLAM PICNIC 2025

Budapest’s unique summer programme, Glam Picnic, returns for the fourth time this year. The Crowne Plaza Budapest, recently crowned Hotel of the Year, will transform its rooftop garden into a stylish brunch haven on summer weekends — complete with a Bányai Speciality Coffee Concept pop-up, buffet and à la carte breakfast, and beautifully designed picnic islandsOn 28 and 29 June, the event will be hosted by  Kristóf Steiner and Nimrod Dagan. GRUND COMEDY BOY BAND

The cast of the hit musical  The Paul Street Boys – including  Márk Ember, Béla Fesztbaum, Balázs Medveczky, József Wunderlich, and Áron Zoltán – are heading back to the Budapest Park stage on29 June. Expect an evening of  theatre magic and rock energy as The GRUND – the band formed by the actors – perform songs from László Dés and Péter Geszti, alongside their own covers of Hungarian and international hits. The concert will also feature the premiere of two  brand-new original songs, never before released, which can only be heard live. BUDARO DESIGNER FAIR AT HENGERMALOM

For the second time this year, the Budaro design fair is taking over Újbuda, once again bringing together a vibrant mix of emerging talents and well-established names from the Hungarian design scene. On Sunday, 29 June, the event will pop up at the iconic industrial venue of Hengermalom for a full day of creative discovery, complemented by various accompanying programmes.
