TADAM x TIME OUT MARKET BUDAPEST
Time Out Market Budapest turns up the volume on 19 December as TADAM — the Budapest and Vienna party series known for its distinctive venues and raw, characterful sound — takes over the space for one night only. Expect an energetic blend of house music from TheFirth and Ādem, set against the market’s lively backdrop where eating, drinking and socialising flow naturally into the rhythm of the evening. Entry is free, table reservations are available, and the full selection of food and drinks will be served throughout the night, with kitchens open until 10pm and bars until 11:30pm.

KOLORÁDÓ CHRISTMAS PARTY AT TURBINA
On 19 December, Turbina fills up with pure Kolorádó energy: from the afternoon until late at night, concerts, DJ sets, workshops and side programmes evoke the beloved festival vibe indoors. The Main Hall hosts performances by Freakin’ Disco Kamaraelektronika, Adis Is Ok and Maron, while the Club Room shifts gears from pop to techno, k-pop to jungle. Beyond the music, you can join gift-making and self-knowledge workshops, take part in a quiz, browse a pop-up exhibition, and catch a screening and talk of Majdnemtíz – Kolorádó 2025, a mini documentary offering a glimpse behind the scenes of the festival.

Visitors can browse the creative stalls with a coffee, matcha or chai latte in hand, and enjoy a 10% discount on their café order with any designer purchase. The market runs on 20 December from 2pm to 8pm, offering a cosy, community-focused spot to pick up unique gifts and meet local artists.

On 20 December,the Secret Market pops up inside the elegant Marble Hall of theSzéchenyi Thermal Bath. From 10am to 6pm you can browse unique pieces by Hungarian makers, then pair your visit with a City Park walk, a Zoo stop or a relaxing soak in the thermal pools. Entry is free, and photos will be taken for Secret Market’s official channels.

LOVE ACTUALLY AT BEM CINEMA
If there’s one film that instantly brings on the Christmas mood, it’s Love Actually — and this year you can watch it on the big screen at Bem Cinema on 21 December at 18:15. Shown in English with Hungarian subtitles, Richard Curtis’s iconic 2003 film follows Londoners of all ages as they fall into (and out of) love in the most heartwarming, awkward and bittersweet ways. Tickets are HUF 2,700, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors open around five minutes before the screening.
