Kiskertpiac – Flowery urban summer

Plant-lovers won’t want to miss out on this one! Spend the last Sunday of July surrounded by flowers, houseplants and all their accessories, at Kiskertpiac, the urban farmer’s market. The event returns to ELLÁTÓház, and will also include natural cosmetics, healthy treats, eco-friendly design products and many other accessories. Doors open at 10am and the event runs until 4pm.

RisoPlant Birthday and Support Market

RisoPlant, an urban flower garden and niche printing site at Közben Studio, will celebrate its fourth anniversary between 27 and 31 July. For this occasion, they will organise a market where visitors can buy plants and graphic design items, which would help supporting the survival of the brand.

Street Market 02 / Powered by Footshop

Last year’s downtown Street Market was an enormous success, and this year’s event is expected to be even bigger. Head to the A38 to browse assorted clothes from vintage vendors, second-hand clothing and accessories donated by members of the community, and numerous top brands, all while enjoying music, raffles and much more – for an admission ticket of only 500 forints! Kids under 12 enter free. Head down and check it out!

Népsziget Bolhapiac

On the last Sunday of each month, the ATNO Forge hosts its hugely popular flea market on Népsziget. Search for treasure or come to sell items, yourself! Tables can be rented for 2,000 forints each. Vendors should arrive at 6am, and customers may begin browsing at 7am. The market will last until noon. If that’s not enough, DIY carpentry lessons will be offered as well, teaching you how to carve new and practical furniture from recycled wood! Participation in the woodworking workshop is 23,000 forints – bring a friend for an additional 11,000 forints. You can apply on the spot!

Vintage Légy-Ott! @Szimpla Kert

Head to Szimpla Kert on 8 August for the first Vintage 'Be there!' Fair! In addition to vintage and recycled clothing, there will also be accessories, and discourse on sustainable fashion and the second-hand clothes market.
