Hans Zimmer concert

Long story short, Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer is the number-one guy who makes us cry once the closing credits appear at the end of a film, and one of his masterfully captivating compositions slowly and gently starts to play, breaking that lump in our throat that had been building up during the whole movie. The German film-score composer has written soul-stirring songs for over 150 major motion pictures by now, including The Lion King, The Dark Knight, the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel, Interstellar, and I Am Sam. Danube Carnival

During June 3-18, Budapest hosts one of the most colorful cultural event series of Hungary, the Danube Carnival. The Budapest Summer Festival – an event series held between June 9th and August 30th – connects several cultural institutes and outdoor performance venues in the city’s sprawling parklands of Margaret Island and Városmajor Park. Summer Etyek Picnic

The picturesquely rustic wine village of Etyek – found about 30 km west of Budapest – is full of excellent boutique wineries set amid wonderfully green vineyards. Four times a year, Etyek hosts homey picnics to present the top wines and gastronomic treasures of each season. This summer between June 10-11, the Etyek Picnic welcomes visitors from all over the world with delicious wines, flavorful dishes, family programs, outdoor cooking, and fantastic folk concerts.
