Surrounded by fashionable pieces and contemporary city souvenirs, during a two-hour workshop visitors can get a sneak peek into varied screen-printing processes, and learn about the various silkscreen techniques before putting this newly gained knowledge into practice by imprinting their own posters with a unique design. While the primary language of the class is Hungarian, they provide English translation for international guests. The participation requires preliminary registration, and costs 5,000 forints per person.

The workshop lasts a minimum of two hours and a maximum of seven hours (creating a complete scarf takes approximately seven hours), and it costs 1,000 forints per person and hour, including the price of the fabric.

Technika’s superbly equipped workshop offers weekday and weekend crash courses that teach the basics of woodwork, to putting the acquired knowledge into practice and building various pieces like a bird feeder or even furniture, and visitors are provided with all necessary tools throughout the class. The sessions are in Hungarian, but the staff offers English support to those who don’t speak the local language; the institution is planning to introduce English-language trainings in the not-too-distant future.
