Hungarian band Volkova Sisters, founded by producer/guitarist Dániel Sándor and singer Dalma Berger, started playing together six years ago. Their aim was to provide a platform to all their musical ideals that they could not incorporate in their previous work, and create something particularly unique. While working on their first releases, they began to incorporate sounds from the dark wave of the ’80s, combining it with folk and shoegaze elements. The band will play at the Trafó House of Contemporary Art on December 1st, with guests Terra Profonda.
