The Kunsthalle's (Műcsarnok) exhibition, Vision, Gesture, Experiment, celebrates the 111th anniversary of Hungarian animation. It focuses on the genre of auteur animation, a genre that has always played a crucial and prominent role in Hungarain animation history, yet remains largely unknown to the wider audiences. Even more obscure are the works that exist in the grey area between art forms, often difficult to categorise, and whose ideal method of presentation remains elusive.
