Downtown Városháza Park (City Hall Park) and neighbouring Deák Ferenc tér transformed into a winter wonderland. The former features an ice rink with ice corridors, where you can glide from Wednesday to Sunday. Entry is HUF 2,500 for all, with skate rentals available (HUF 2,500 and HUF 2,00 for students and seniors). Meanwhile, Deák Ferenc tér got decked out in festive decorations, too. You can browse local artisan products while savouring mulled wine, street food, and lángos (Hungarian deep-fried dough topped with sour creme and grated cheese). On December 6th, you can even catch a glimpse of Santa – he traditionally visits Hungarian children on this day. Both the market and the ice rink will welcome visitors until February 2nd.
