The volunteer watering campaign organised by the Municipality of Budapest, FŐKERT and Beeco kicks off with a community event at Feneketlen Lake on 14 June, where participants can help water the area’s trees and perennial plants. Experts from the Hungarian Arborists’ Association will also be on hand to share insights into the condition of Budapest’s urban trees and the challenges they face, while a dedicated knowledge hub will offer plenty of fascinating facts and information. After the watering session, visitors can enjoy live music and a raffle.
