This award-winning odyssey explores the life and legacy of László Moholy-Nagy, the innovative artist and educator whose pioneering approach influenced and inspired a whole generation of designers. In the 1920s, rising artist Moholy-Nagy taught at the groundbreaking Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany, alongside such luminaries as Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky, Forced into exile by the Nazis, Moholy-Nagy moved to Chicago, where he himself became inspired by the sense of re-invention in the city. Acclaimed filmmaker Alysa Nahmias uses in-depth interviews with the designer's daughter and experts from around the world to create a fascinating storyline.
