Attracting 300-400 000 tourists every year, Budapest’s stunning Christmas fair has earned a place among the 10 most beautiful Christmas markets of Europe, while the jolly event has gone through many changes during the last couple of years to ensure high quality entertainment and a real festive atmosphere for all its visitors.
This year, besides the traditional Hungarian delicacies like the Chimney Cake, homemade pies and roasted chestnut, an assortment of craft desserts are on offer, including creamy chocolates, colorful marzipans, scrumptious beigli (Hungarian sweet rolls filled with poppy seed or walnut) and gingerbread.
