On 13 June, the Chariot Festival will make its way through the streets of Budapest for the 30th time. As part of the Krishna devotees' traditional Ratha Yatra celebration, the colourful procession will depart from Eötvös Square and head towards City Park, accompanied by musicians and dancers along the route. From noon onwards, visitors can also enjoy the programmes of the India Festival in City Park, featuring traditional Indian music and dance performances, yoga sessions, workshops, talks, concerts, henna painting, children's activities, a marketplace and a variety of Indian culinary specialities. Participation in all programmes is free of charge.
