The British Embassy is hosting an exclusive whisky-tasting event to celebrate Saint David, patron of Wales. Though the Welsh national celebration is on 1 March, this event takes place the day before, on 28 February. Guests can taste Penderyn, a new Welsh whisky, and compare its flavour with many Irish and Scottish varieties. The sampling is led by Norbert Schök, the award-winning bartender at the GoodSpirit Bar. British cheeses will complement the drinks.
