Over the past two decades, the Reformed Music Festival has become one of Budapest’s most significant cultural events. This year, from 30 May to 1 June, the festival returns for its 20th edition, offering a free, three-day programme that draws thousands of visitors.
The line-up features more than 50 events, including a special concert by Kaláka, who will perform the musical adaptations of poems by Lőrinc Szabó, marking the 125th anniversary of his birth. Audiences can also look forward to performances by Béla Szakcsi Lakatos Jr. and his band, Tázló, Mordái, Magashegyi Underground, Vecsei H. Miklós, Koncz Kriszta Group, Talamba, Capella Columbae, and the Harmonia Caelestis Baroque Orchestra.
In addition to the musical programme, festival-goers can enjoy a range of cultural experiences, including a literary stage performance by Zoltán Beck and Krisztián Grecsó. With such a diverse selection of events, the Reformed Music Festival offers something for everyone.
