Three of the greatest pieces written for the cello will be played at this recital on 3 March, part of the Early Music Festival concert series. Alongside will be a masterpiece of equal importance from the solo violin repertoire, transcribed for cello. Ditta Rohmann and Olga Pashchenko will treat the audience to a harmonious marriage of cello and the fortepiano by presenting masterworks by Bach, Beethoven and Schubert.
