Pictorial Collective: Residents of streets named after poet Sándor Petőfi

Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Centre is a cool place to visit in itself. And now, it is hosting an exhibition with a unique concept: of the people living on Petőfi Streets in different parts of the country. And in Hungary, most streets are named after Petőfi (if we put all 2800 of them together, we could go as far as the Atlantic Ocean), so brace yourself for an extensive and remarkable collection. Nine members of the Pictorial Collective documentary photography collective have photographed 266,000 residents over the past year and a half. So if you are curious about contemporary Hungarian society, this exhibition will provide an intriguing and subjective photographic view.
