The Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center (Robert Capa Kortárs Fotóművészeti Központ), opened in 2013, is not a museum with a permanent collection, but an exhbition space, focusing primarily on press and documentary photography. The Center lays great emphasis on international relations, enhancing them with exhibitions and grants. The responsibilities of the museum include the study and preservation of the Hungarian press photography heritage, and the establishment of the Hungarian Photography Award as well.
