North Brewing Co was founded in 2015 by John Gyngell and Christian Townsley, also owners of North Bar, a pioneering craft-beer pub in Leeds opened back in 1997. On 25 January, the illustrious duo take over the taps at Hopaholic. Besides NB’s five beers on tap – Finback Double, Giant Steps chocolate-and-hazelnut stout, Pig’s Ears, Kurious Oranj American IPA and Counterpoint session IPA – you’ll also be able to buy three canned versions.
