Random Trip is a unique phenomenon on the domestic popular music scene: an improvisational series of concerts spanning generic boundaries (pop, rock, jazz, hip hop, blues, electro, etc.), in which leading lights of the twenty and thirty-something generation of Hungarian pop music take to the stage and lead each other on the most unexpected musical adventures.
Starting in Budapest clubs at the beginning of 2009, what began as a weekly club evening has by now "outgrown” its own parameters: it is now a welcome guest at Budapest's biggest concert venues, jazz festivals, major summer music festivals and top clubs in the provinces alike, and the list of performers regularly includes international stars.
