The Music Academy started out on 15 November 1875 with five teachers and 38 students. To celebrate the occasion, violinist Ádám Banda will take part in the traditional anniversary concert. Conducted by Ádám Medveczky, the Liszt Academy Symphony Orchestra play pieces by Erkel, Liszt, Kodály and Bartók.
