This 15th annual edition of Jazz Showcase, the most prominent opportunity for young talent in Central Europe, will again allow six acts to give a live performance of 45 minutes each. After shows by the Adrienne Bangó Quartet, the Diána Danyi Quintet, the Rezső Jónás Trio, the Damján Ocsovay Trio, the Lilla Orbay Quintet and the Salamon Tűzkő Quintet, the jury will award the winners a special prize at 8pm on the Sunday evening. As Hungary currently holds presidency of the regional V4 Visegrád Group, also appearing will be Czechs Dan Bárta & the Robert Balzar Trio, international combo, the Cadotsch/Downes/Donkin/Maddren quartet, and Polish singer Aga Zaryan on each of the three nights.
