Timed around Easter, the next guided tour in English at the Hungarian National Gallery is themed around the late Gothic winged altarpieces that flourished in Hungary from the 1460s and 1470s up to the early 16th century, in line with developments elsewhere in Europe. Tickets for the one-hour visit are an extra 1,000 forints on top of regular admission to the permanent exhibition and are also available by the entrance of the exhibition on a first-come, first-served basis.
