Airbnb presents some truly unique experiences, and one of them is this welcoming apartment restaurant in the heart of café-lined Újlipótváros, near the Margaret Bridge. Here, a lovely Hungarian couple, Zita and Gabe, often accompanied by their super friendly dog and adorable baby, treat you to the best local dishes made from their granny's recipes. The menu may vary, but you can expect to taste incredibly delicious liver pâté with sourdough bread, golden pea soup, creamy chicken (or mushroom) paprikash and crumbly strudel – but only after toasting with a shot of Hungarian spirit pálinka. Your meal will be complemented by organic wines and great stories – leaving you feeling like you're at a friend's dinner party.
