Hania Rani is a pianist, composer and musician living in Warsaw, and studying and working in Berlin. She writes for strings, piano, voice and electronics, and collaborated with renowned artists such as Christian Löffler, Dobrawa Czocher and Hior Chronik. She recently released her debut album Esja as her first personal statement as an artist. According to Rani, there’s “no hiding behind the 'collaborations' or 'projects' any more. For the very first time, finally – just me, as I am”.

She takes the stage of Instant on 8 May, together with Hungarian duo Atreyu's Horse, playing improvised electronic tunes.
