As part of Müpa Budapest’s Early Music Festival, Handel’s Alexander Balus oratorio is being performed in Hungary for the first time on 7 March by the Kodály Choir Debrecen, the Savaria Baroque Orchestra and several outstanding singers. Kornélia Bakos has the title role.
