Saori Ichihara was born in Japan and moved to Sweden in 2014. She is the head chef and co-owner of ICHI, a Michelin-approved restaurant in Sweden, where she created a new version of Nordic and Japanese cuisine. She has worked at some of Stockholm’s finest restaurants such as Esperanto and Oaxen Krog, and has been awarded the bronze medal by the Swedish Gastronomic Academy. On 15 and 16 January, she will be introducing her culinary expertise as a guest of the Globalist Kitchen.
