The Internet and the visuality evolved in virtuality infiltrate our present. The
GIF
(Graphics Interchange Format) is increasingly expanded in online culture as a result of the World Wide Web’s extension. The
exhibition
reflects on this phenomenon. They reconsider and think forward this online medium by means of instruments of video-art, installation and conceptuality - i.e. intermediality, installed into the MAMŰ’s basement space. The tension between the “underground” feature of the Gallery and the bared severity of the high tech creates a particular atmosphere.
