Calling all cheese lovers: the first-ever Cheese Budapest takes over Rákóczi téri Vásárcsarnok on 17 October, putting Hungarian cheeses and artisan producers in the spotlight. Alongside plenty of cheese, wine, beer and fermented drinks to taste, the programme includes live music, quizzes, a cheese recognition competition and round-table discussions. You can also browse the producers' market, join guided cheese and wine walks, learn more about the history of cheese or even try your hand at making it during one of the workshops.
