The third Budapest Classics Film Marathon will be held from 4 September to 11. Throughout eight days, you can enjoy almost a hundred restored classic films at various cinemas around Budapest. Pierre Richard, Michael Nyman, Udo Kier, Johanna Ter Steege and Magda Vášáryová will be the guests of the festival. You can also catch free screenings at Szent István tér.
Further venues for the Budapest Classics Film Marathon include Uránia National Film Theatre, Toldi Cinema, the French Institute and the Puskin Cinema. The event is accompanied by international film lectures, workshops, master classes, concerts, documentaries and a poster exhibition.
