It all started when a group of students decided to conquer the night with board games. A new initiative in Budapest, it quickly outgrew the living room, and has become a popular event series, called Játszóház Projekt, with hundreds of participants. It's a great opportunity to get to know new people, have fun and gain world domination. You won’t find Monopoly or Hotel among the games, the new generation will feature instead: Dixit, Dobble, Ticket to Ride, Patchwork, etc. If you don't know any of them it's okay, there will be a few organizers to help and get you started.
