Biorobot
is a rare formation in the Hungarian pop music scene. The two front men,
Róbert Bérczesi
of
hiperkarma
, and
András Nemes
from Pluto, created all the songs together as equal partners, recreating the songwriter-duo archetype of McCartney and Lennon. Some of their songs were published on the internet and they instantly gained a serious fan base for themselves; although they have only played a few shows, everyone expects them to have a huge success.
Their first album (which had a rough road leading to it) is a song-oriented beat-rock styled one, with occasional punk vibes; it is a snapshot of varied and diffuse vocals and rhythms. Their second album is in the making and will be finished this spring – the first songs of this album will be played at the concert.
