Big Daddy Wilson has come a long way to be here. Raised amid the cottonfields of a tiny, isolated and dirt-poor community in North Carolina, Wilson got to know blues music during his military stint in Germany. Before long, his warm, soulful voice made him a defining figure of jam nights across Germany. Since then, he has released more than a dozen studio albums, with hit songs such as Walk a Mile In My Shoes, Cross Creek Road and Thumb a Ride.
