Bakáts Fest is the biggest cultural event in Ferencváros, and this year it celebrates its 10th edition. From 5–7 September, Bakáts Square and its surroundings will come alive with three days of free music and cultural programmes. Concerts, children’s activities, exhibitions, literary talks and local history walks all feature on the programme, along with slam poetry readings, dance houses and film screenings. Among the performers are the Barabás Lőrinc Quartet, Csaknekedkislány, The Qualitons, L.A. Suzi and the MÁV Symphony Orchestra.
