On 26 September, the streets of Wekerle turn into a bustling marketplace as the Wekerle Garage Sale Festival returns for its 23rd edition this autumn. Clothes, toys, books, home décor, electronics and plenty of other pre-loved treasures will be looking for new homes, with more than 50 courtyards opening their doors to bargain hunters. Beyond the shopping, the festival is all about a friendly, community atmosphere - and it’s also a great excuse to wander around the neighbourhood and discover more about Wekerle’s history and distinctive character.
